Garage & Shed Break - Manchester Rd &:Shelley Drive

Hi Resident

Following from my message sent on Monday we have received further report of a garage broken into on Manchester Rd between Sunday 29/06 23:00hrs & Monday  30/06 07:00hrs.  A bicycle was stolen and was later recovered not far from the address. 

On Shelley drive an attempt had been made to gain access to a shed on Monday 30/06 02:00-02:05hrs.  Fortunately there was no damage or anything taken. 

A further report of an insecure vehicle which had been accessed and items taken from within on Chatterton Drive.  This is believed to be between Saturday 28/06 22:00hrs & Monday  30/06 08:00hrs. 

Neighbourhood officers have been in the area making residents aware & looking for cctv that may assist however this is either of poor quality or over a large time scale. If you have any cctv that you believe could assist please do get in touch. 

I am also aware of a video on Baxenden Watch of a suspicious person active last night.   This has been noted for officer on duty overnight. 

Please be vigilant and if you see suspicious activity that you believe would lead to a crime being committed during the early hours then report on 999.
